Matthew Williams

Matthew has practised solely in the area of commercial litigation, dispute resolution and risk management since 2010. He has expertise in all areas of commercial litigation.

Matthew is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. He can appear in all Australian jurisdictions. Matthew has represented local public authorities, large publicly listed companies, local and national businesses.

In 2017, Matthew was listed as one of 10 finalists in dispute resolution category of the nationwide Lawyers' Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards ceremony. Matthew is also a Vice President of the Southport Chamber of Commerce.

 

Syam Subramaniam
Solicitor

Syam completed his Bachelor of Laws at University of Queensland and his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Bond University. Syam was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in March 2010. In his early career as a junior lawyer, Syam practiced in the areas of family law, criminal law and litigation before finding his feet in property and commercial law and has been practicing exclusively in this space on the Gold Coast since 2013.

Syam has advised on and transacted on SMSF acquisitions and disposals (including related party transactions and financing, management rights, child-care sites and leases, hotels and accommodation, private lending, retail and commercial leasing, residential and mixed-use developments.

Syam is hands-on and there is never a job too small for Syam. Syam takes particular interest and joy assisting ‘mum and dads’ delving into the world of small-scale property developments and acting for buyers looking to acquire their investment property or their forever home.

Syam is also able to assist with advice and insight on property dispute matters in the space of family law or commercial litigation where there may be competing interests in play.

 
 

Shea Low


Associate

Shea is an associate of MKW Legal and Seed Conveyancing, a division of MKW Legal. Shea completed her Bachelor of Laws at Bond University and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2015.

Shea practices exclusively in the area of property law and is one of the best associate-level transaction lawyers on the Gold Coast and we are proud to have her on our team.

Shea has the (super)natural ability to trouble-shoot problems in quick time to ensure that settlements are completed without unnecessary stress or costs to our clients.

Amber Wemyss


Solicitor

Amber started with the firm in 2018 as a paralegal whilst undertaking her law degree through Griffith University. Amber was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2021 and since that time has garnered immense experience in various types of commercial and property law matters. Amber has a keen interest in assisting her clients to receive the best possible outcome. She has a wealth of legal knowledge and determination which ensures that her clients enjoy positive and commercial outcomes. Amber is passionate and loyal which gives her clients the comfort that their best interests will be protected at all times.
