Meet the Team

Matthew K Williams

Matthew has practised in commercial law, commercial litigation, and dispute resolution since 2010, advising businesses and individuals on complex legal and commercial issues.

He has extensive experience across all stages of commercial disputes, including pre-action strategy, negotiation, litigation, and enforcement. His practice is informed by a strong commercial perspective, developed through years of acting for publicly listed companies, private enterprises, property investors, and high-income individuals.

Matthew is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia and is able to appear in matters across all Australian jurisdictions.

In addition to his legal practice, Matthew is actively involved in a number of business ventures across property, retail, consumer brands, and technology. This commercial exposure allows him to advise clients with a practical understanding of business risk, growth, and decision-making beyond purely legal considerations.

In 2017, Matthew was recognised nationally as a finalist in the dispute resolution category of the Lawyers’ Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards.
